Can you believe it's been a year?

Remember this picture? A year ago today (November 15) we moved into our apartment in NYC. I can't believe we actually crammed so much stuff into this tiny apartment. The shocker is - we've grown to love this small space! There are many things we love and miss about Texas - but we're having so much fun on this adventure we've decided to stay another year. In one year - we've experienced more than we could have ever imagined. We've made wonderful friends, found an amazing church, seen more Broadway shows than most people see in a lifetime. Not to mention all of our trips to the beautiful places surrounding the City. Our kids have adapted so well - they are having a ball. We're all happy and enjoying every minute of it. Here's to another year in 'The Big Apple'!

Halloween in New York!

When Griffin got home from trick-or-treating he said.... "Mommy - I thought we were supposed to trick-or-treat outside". It was a new experience for all of us - but we enjoyed it. We had several Halloween events to attend. Octoberfest at PS158, Griff's class party, and of course, trick-or-treating. The kids each had two costumes and mixed it up at each party. Mommy and Daddy even dressed up for Octoberfest. Griffin loved dressing up like daddy - a Penn football player. The crowd favorite however was DONALD TRUMP!
