Living the life...

My friend Paige said she wanted to come live my life in NYC. So that's what we did. We didn't do the "touristy" stuff - we just did what we'd normally do on any weekend. Paige brought her son Hank... aka, "The Tank" or "Billy Rubin", to play with the kids -they had a ball. They played their hearts out and crashed at the end of every day. My sweet husband, watched the kids twice so Paige and I could do some boutique shopping in the area (nothing out of the ordinary for my life). We ate and ate and drank and shopped and even had time for a Broadway show! 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee was hilarious - we were singing it all weekend long (shocker). On our last night we got a babysitter and the three of us went to Rosa Mexicano (one of very few good Mexican Restaurants in the City) then to the lower east side to listen to some live music. The trip ended with church this morning, then it was time to say good-bye to our sweet friends. We can't wait till your next visit - bring BT next time!
